USPS Shipments Reported as Delivered but Not Received
We understand that a delay in receiving your order is frustrating— it also happens to us. We appreciate your patience while we ascertain what happened and how to address it best.
- USPS often reports an item as delivered, but the actual delivery doesn’t occur for several more days. In such cases, waiting 2-3 days often resolves the issue.
- As a small, two-person company, we have no higher level of access to the internal systems of the shipping carriers. The tracking details you see are exactly the same details we see.
- All of our packages include shipping insurance.
- Please check that the shipping address provided in the order is correct. Many undelivered packages result from typos or old shipping addresses.
- In other cases, your package was delivered to a neighboring address. Usually, the initial recipient is good about getting the shipment to you.
- If the package doesn’t turn up within 2-3 days, we will file a missing item report with the USPS. This often triggers the USPS to locate and deliver the package.
- If the above steps aren’t successful, we can ship a replacement while waiting for shipping insurance reimbursement.
- The recipient will eventually get what was ordered or a refund provided.
